Poem- Unknown

The number of unknowns we will have to deal with in the future cannot be counted.

Many things that were hidden behind closed doors have come to light, making us feel astounded.

The frequency of its occurrence and how long it lasts are unbounded.

The arrival of the unknown in life brings ground-shaking experiences and remains uncontrolled.

Saying we know nothing about what the future holds for us is a sign of astuteness.

Any attempt to predict the future with certainty will be proven wrong with absoluteness.

To try to control all factors in order to reduce uncertainty is a fool’s game.

Regardless of how hard we try, any powerful force working against us can uproot our lofty claims and reduce us to feeling lame.

We may not have all the weapons to deal with the unknown, but it must not overwhelm us with fear.

It must not discourage us from looking for new frontiers.

Any narrative to downplay the role of the unknown in life will fall apart.

Defending the indefensible will only hide the truth and can never make us feel smart.

Not all unknowns are negative; some may play a positive role in life to help us conquer the next big thing.

Positive unknowns can change our lives dramatically and may even let us fly like a bird with wings.

Keeping a reflexive approach to dealing with surprises is often recommended.

Taking decisions to act upon changes as and when they arise is always well-intentioned.
