Poem- The Addiction

The lust of desire overpowers your rational thought

The mind gets numb after being entangled in a vicious knot

The idea of slowing it down doesnot work in the desired way.

Things start to get messed up leaving many shades of grey.

The mind degrades slowly and eventually starts to rot.

The brazen attitude remains firm with no fear of being caught.

The painful reasons and situations exacerbate its cause.

All it required is the sound direction and a definite pause.

The fear of revelation is tormenting to heart and mind.

The mind left in its own thought goes through a brutal grind.

The luxury of anonymity stretches the problem even more.

It makes us fall into a situation that others very much abhor.

Finding false comfort and seeking self-assurance is a recipe for disaster.

If intervention is delayed infinitely, grounds will be lost much faster.
