Poem Herd instinct

Following the herd doesn’t require thinking on your own.

Copy cat behaviour is pushed forward as it falls in most people’s comfort zone.

Questioning something “why” Is it happening ?is never a priority.

Assumption is that- decision has to be right since it is followed by majority.

Choices and decisions taken due to herd instinct may have lacunae which we ignore.

Madness of crowd seldom allow rethinking which is faulty at its core.

Wrong decisions projected to be made right by coercing people to follow it at any cost.

Narratives are built in such a way that space for “ Counter opinion” is squeezed and it’s Relevance is lost.

Blind trust is so prevalent that they never imagine themselves to be wrong.

With no opposition, herd behaviour looks strong for very long.

Seeking social acceptance and avoiding rejection is fundamental driver for herd mentality.

Guided by floods of emotions, there is real chance of losing all rationality.

Herd behavior is automatically triggered when wide range panic or fear is gripping.

Placing yourself in ‘ protective zone' remains a priority without any tripping.

Truths and facts are suppressed so it doesn’t disturb their narratives.

By pushing only one line of thought, they crush all other alternatives.
